Fall is in the Air Mini Album

I just wanted to share with you the super cute fall album that I made this week, featuring Echo Park Paper "Fall is in the Air" new line! Loaded with tags, flip pages, pockets and flaps. I used every sheet of pattern paper in the line!! of course my Bazzill Basics Paper cardstock, which you all know I love!!

I used a beautiful magnetic album from
Prima Marketing Flowers and designed by Frank Garcia! This album is so well made and the Kraft covered chipboard is so sturdy!! wow!

There was a lot of Prima products used to create this album, flowers and micro beads finished off the flower clusters, with a metal clasp also from Prima The die on the front and sides is brand new from
La-La Land Crafts, and it is my new favourite!!!
Thanks for taking a peek
:)

Front cover Frank Garcia Magnetic Chipboard Album and hinge clasp, Echo Park Paper Fall is in the Air paper line, Prima Marketing Flowers micro beads, flowers and leaves. The leaves were sprayed with their Colour Burst Spray in Lime Wedge.

Close-up of this pretty flower cluster with all those shiny beads

Side view of that beautiful die from La-La Land Crafts, stunning!!

Inside, look at all those pages!! in one little mini album!
A waterfall is the focus of the 1st page, with the 2nd page leaving room for a larger picture.

Pages 3 and 4 have lots of flaps, tags, pockets and super cute owls!!! love them

Pages 4 and 5 have pockets and tags that are sized for a picture. The little owl tag on page 5 is only glued down on 2 sides so a picture can easily slide under it.

Pages 6 and 7: how can you not fall in love with that owl??? oh my! more flaps and tags to fill with pictures or journaling. — at Paper Lane Studio.

Pages 8 and 9: page 8 has 2 flaps that I have held together with a regal paperclip, under each tag is a quote or room for journaling.

Pages 10 and 11: Page 10 has 2 separate pockets that hold tags and then a larger photo mat on page 11.

Pages 12 and 13: Echo Park Paper has included some beautiful quotes with the line, so why not have a page just for a large tag/title? Love it!! and then room for a larger picture on page 13...sweater weather!

Pages 14 and 15: page 14 has a beautiful picture mat using Bazzill Basics Paper Cajun cardstock, a super cute Fox tag that I made into a flap held secure with a metal photo turn. Page 15 has a large pocket with room for journaling and pictures.

Pages 16 and 17: can you believe how many pages are in this album??? wow!
Page 16 has room for a picture with a cute little owl to watch over it. and Page 17 is my personal favourite!! 3 flaps that all fold different ways and a large mat for a picture on the main page. and look at that cute tag hanging in the binding area! perfect!!

Celebrating our favourite guys!!

We celebrated our favourite guys last Sunday, creating a wonderful layout and a Father's Day Card.
Photo Play's This Guy line is perfect for those masculine layouts and cards that we all need to create at some point.

For this layout we used Bazzill cardstock in Brown and Kraft, gears, metal washers, chicken wire and duct tape!! yep, good old duct tape (but not the canvas style, the one that you wrap your pipes and duct work with). Definitely added a manly feel!

For the card we used Deco Foil in gold and silver, using our laminator! such an easy technique and quick!

Ladies are getting down to business!

Val was our draw winner!! Congrats

Our finished products!! everyone did an amazing job!

Then the silliness started lol such a great bunch of ladies!

Kathleen had Gary frame her layout of her Father, we are all laughing because usually in a picture we only see the back of Kathleen's head lol but Gary was sure to get the right shot!!

Most Memorable Person Layout Contest

And we have a winner of our Most Memorable Person contest!!
Congratulations Linda on winning our Most Memorable Person contest!!

Linda chose her Dad as her most memorable person, she feels who she is today was because of him and she is his "mini-me".
Steve was a police officer in Toronto, this picture is circa 1970's. He worked in the property office dealing with court evidence.
There are many little pieces of embellishments on this layout that reflect who he was such as the dominoes, they would play euchre in the station with dominoes
because cards were not allowed. Linda picked the double 5 domino because his station number was the 55 Division.

Linda says " Dad is my true mentor and idol, she is his clone in every sense of the word only in a female version". The key reflects on her Dad's handcuff key which she to this day has on her car keychain!
Thank you Linda for all the info on your Dad and for sharing this beautiful layout with all of us!!

Linda used many products on her layout such as:

Heartfelt Creations: Everyday Heroes paper pad
Bazzill Basics Paper: Blackbird
Tim Holtz: Flashcards, Ground Espresso Distress Ink, metal word bands, keys and coin.
Silhouette Cameo: word "Remember" and honeycomb background
Misc: burlap ribbon, twine and brads.
